Ninja: A ninja or a shinobi are people with extra ordinary abilities.Ninja's are the military forces in the shinobi world,just like soldiers in the real world.Well then there are good ninja's and Bad ninja's.Bad ninja's have evil goals and abuse what they have been gifted with and use it for various things like take over the world,total world domination,war,desire to kill,rape women,to steal etc...Good ninja's have good ideals and use they god handed gift they have for the better good.
There is a belief among people and I quote orochimaru "The very reason we are called ninja is the because of the many ninjutsu we wield".To this I quote jiraya's argument "A real ninja is someone who endures what ever gets thrown at him,all you need is the guts to never give up".That sounded a bit cheesy saying that
Chakra:Chakra is the elemental life energy that a ninja uses in jutsu's,its the source of all his power.Now this energy has 2 forms physical energy which is present in the cells and spiritual energy,the primary source of power which is intensified by training and experience.These 2 energies must be drawn out in order to perfome jutsu's,but one has to keep in mind that he needs to maintain a balance between the two energies to perform jutsu's.Chakra flows through the body through chakra vessels much like the blood vessels.And finally,handseals are used as a means to summon forth this chakra in order to perform various jutsu's.People have been known to possess exceptional amount of chakra like in the case of uzumaki or the senju's.People with exceptional chakra have greater stamina than ordinary ninja eg:Naruto.By adding more chakra,the damage dealt by the jutsu can be increased
Ninjutsu:It is the the ability to use the chakra to perform amazing feats like spewing fire,making lightning in your hands etc..Its called ninjutsu because it is wielded by ninja's.Ninjutsu are a primary form of offensive method besides taijutsu.The ability to do jutsu's require some basic things like molding chakra,shape manipulation and chakra manipulation.Molding chakra is the way of compressing the chakra giving it a form,like we mold katon chakra into fire in order to use fire jutsu's or suiton chakra into water inorder to perform water jutsu's.Nature manipulation is the process of changing the chakra to resemble the properties of the basic elements like Fire,Water,Wind,Lightning and Earth.Shape manipulation is the way of shaping the molded chakra into a desired form,like maybe a ball in the case of rasengan.
Genjutsu:Genjutsu or Illusionary arts are a means to deceive others.Deceiving others is a basic trait in the case of shinobi's.Genjutsu doesn't physically harm a person(except kurama clan personal),it just messes with your mind.Genjutsu is achieved by producing a chakra disturbance in your opponent,mainly the brain thereby taking control over the 5 sense's like touch,sight,smell,hearing,taste.By manipulatin these sense's a ninja can make their opponent feel,see,hear,smell,taste what ever they want.There are different jutsu's to achieve these kinds of effects.Then there is also the infamous uchiha clan with the KG,sharingan.The sharingan is a powerful doujutsu known to induce visual illusions upon mere eye contact.The reason why the uchiha clan was feared by all was mainly due to this innate ability.
Taijutsu:It is the basic hand to hand combat.Shinobi's rarely focus on taijutsu as they all believe ninjutsu > taijutsu.So people focus more on ninjutsu rather than on taijutsu,if one truly masters taijutsu it is as equally good as ninjutsu.Taijutsu specialists are quick on their feet.What good does ninjutsu if you can't hit somebody who is moving so fast.Taijuts users also have a ace up their sleeve,this is the opening of the inner gates.By opening the gates,the user is granted unfathomable power and speed,by releasing 8 gates a ninja could even become more powerful than a hokage but at the cost of his own life.Sharingan users excelled in taijutsu due to the fact that their eyes could predict most of the taijutsu movements,giving them a picture of movements before it actually happens.Then there is the hyuuga's tai style jyuuken.It basically revolves around attacking the chakra points inorder to block the chakra circulation thereby preventing the use of chakra.
Kenjutsu:It is arts revolving around swords.Kenjutsu is mostly practiced by samurai's or true wielder of the blade like zabuza momoichi,kisame etc.
Elemenatl Ninjutsu:This is the same as ninjutsu except the fact that we use nature manipulation to change the chakra nature to one we desire.There are five forms of elemental ninjutsu Katon,Raiton,Suiton,Doton and Fuuton.Katon means release of fire,the chakra is made to resemble fire in properties and released while molding the chakra into actual fire inorder to perform various Fire release jutsu's.Suiton same as fire except its water,Dton-Earth,Fuuton-Wind,Raiton-Lightning.These are the 5 elements.The have a relation with each other that is Fire>Wind,Wind>Lightning,Lightning>Earth,Earth>Water,Water>Fire.Its basically a cycle.Then there are advanced elements like combining tow or more elements to produce a powerful new element.This is rarely seen and in most cases is due to KG.Some advanced elements are Lava release,Scorch release,Storm release etc..
Kinjutsu: These are the forbidden techniques that even question the moral of a ninja.These are called forbidden arts for the very reason that they are dangerous.These jutsu's give unimaginable power to the user,but it always has a cost for the user.The most prominent kinjutsu user for me would be orochimaru,kabuto.
Fuuinjutsu:Fuuinjutsu or sealing arts are a means to seal stuff >_>.It basically revolves around scrolls in which you write the seal in kanji,in order to perform the sealing.the scrolls can be pre-prepared for battle.The fuuinjutsu is used to seal chakra,weapons,dead bodies,living bodies.The seal used to imprison the nine tailed fox in naruto,sealed half of the nine tails chakra in naruto's body.Jiraya was shown to seal the holy black flames in the first part of naruto.Dead Bodies of people can be sealed in scrolls,which is much easier than carrying a body.Seals can also be used to suppress the chakra in people.eg:Kakshi suppressing the nine tails chakra using a tag while naruto was in his initial kyuubi transformation.Seals can also be used to trap people in barriers,seal away their skills,even take away their souls.There is more to fuuinjutsu than what we already know.
