Since they are doing reincarnations they should have made him the reincarnation of hamura afterall he was just as gifted as sasuke mastering Jutsu in hyuga family when only few could master that being his own father and uncle the hyuga bloodline was stronger him then anyone else in their clan they so should have done something more with neji instead if him sacrificing himself

my friend made this ost, hope you enjoy playing this track while reading my theory.

hey guys, in the past i've made some theories which i explained the possibility of neji spirit coming back and surprisingly many people seem to enjoy and agree with my terms and this takes waaaay back before i.t. Occurred. While i had some disagreement, i'd argued that any spirit can simply come back to the physical world via how hagoromo explained and people would love to counter that hagoromo emerged and transmigrated through centuries because he was a "god" and or that minato& kushina showed up because they stored their chakra and placed their seal inside naruto.

However due to this recent event, things turns tide to my favor. You can check out my previous thread.

the hyugas role & hype :

neji role in process :

here that would relate to my theory:

kaguya, the hyuga curse seal

now that we've finally reached to this point, in this chapter obito was able to transport himself from the limbo to the physical world and merged into kakashi to give him chakra. He had also explained that "chakra" is the bridge between the two world and there're some theories like vega and dragnor had brought up some point with regarding the 6 path/ realms had connection with the spirits and the edo tensie that calls and grasp the spirit from the afterlife in other word, this whole lifeforce is filled with chakra itself and keep in mind that they're in kaguya realm.

For more information, you can check out the link to their theory.

vega:

between this world and the next

dragnor

ghost realm : Bridge to the five realms

there're so many way to interrupt "spirit" from kishimoto standpoint, and as such as the link i've provided, this brings in even more possible for my theory to come into my fruition. Even you disagree with my predictions because it's the biggest "asspull" then regardless i can assure you that at this point of time, anything is possible which was proven in this chapter that since obito can do it implies that everyone can do it unless they "pass on"

now since i've explained through my previous theories, let me revise and layout the points i've established.

  • in chapter 662, according to the viz translation, it was hinted by hinata that neji will protect naruto.

You must be registered for see images

there's no way that kishimoto will simpily run loose after considering what she said, this isn't just a mere fluke, there's always reason behind it which is known for building up the plot especially we've reached this far to the story, this whole spirit right now brings even more plausible that ties in to my theory.

  • hamura confirmed to equipped the byakugan thus it's safe to say that he's the hyuga ancestor. Hamura presumably to be a taijutsu users and he used sealing techs which many speculated (include myself) that he's also an uzumaki.

You must be registered for see images

  • in that case one of gai team members is taijutsu user (neji & rock lee) and his other team member (tenten) uses sealing techs. And not to forget tenten got to handle one of the treasured tools of sage.

(yes i understand that tenten is under the infinite tsukoyomi, however i don't think someone like tobirama is going to be the one to utilize the tools especially at this point the hokages are gathered with hagoromo at one place awaiting to get into kaguya realm meaning that plot is further swayed away the possibility chance of him obtaining the sage tools are almost slim to none.)

as i previously mentioned, kishi can't simply leave everything to waste after it had been foreshadowed for tenten roles because why else does she studied for all this time and then it comes down to asking the cloud ninja to help her out, which many of you presume to be killer bee which some speculated he's active in i.t. Cause of "sunglasses" and be the one to use it when in fact he's not. The same applies to shino.

  • keep in mind that hamura is a hyuga and done almost the same as neji with similar pose as so6p which was depicted on volume 64 facing the juubi

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

  • considering kishimoto haven't reveal the backstory with kaguya& hamura, it's more likely we will learn the byakugan origin and the hyuga secrets that would connect neji roles with possibly meeting up hinata and or naruto in the ghost or heaven realm.

  • kaguya goals were possibly send her army of white zetsus, who are surperb at absorbing chakra, into the spirit world then she would have a nearly limitless supply of chakra to absorb and conquer the 6 realms.

now the rehash is out of the way, let me try to add new briefly to my theory.

As you guys all noticed, neji is a caged bird and when he dies, he gain his freedom and lose his branch mark on his forehead. Kishimoto love to play symbolism. On volume 64 we see that kishimoto has drawn neji - surrounded by naruto’s cloak in the form of a phoneix.

do you know what the phoenix symbolizes? Rebirth

what's interested to note is that it seems kishi manage to implement the chineese mythology han dynasty feng long to his series.

han dynasty fung long (phoenix and dragon)

You must be registered for see images

this regal design was the imperial coat of arms of the ancient han emperors and was only recently discovered in a han dynasty tomb. Originally carved from solid jade, the dragon phoenix represents nobility, success, and harmony between the positive yang forces (represented by the dragon), and the negative yin forces (represented by the phoenix). In addition the dragon represents wisdom and the phoenix represents rebirth.

first off, on the bold i've labeled, based on the context, it explained that the dragon& phoenix represents nobility, success, and harmony .

You must be registered for see images

the description fits almost perfectly because the original symbol that neji has on his forehead is a resemblance of manji (whirlwind) representing dharma ( following the principle of their teaching) , harmony and balance of the opposites. People get mixed up with the swastika as nazi but in actuality the hyuga cursed seal is hindu and buddhist symbol of manji.

The phoenix feathers were composed of the five fundamental colors: Black, white, red, green, and yellow. These colors are said to represent the confucius' five virtues:

ren is the virtue of benevolence, charity, and humanity;
yi: honesty and uprightness; yì may be broken down into zhong, doing one's best, conscientiousness, loyalty and shù: The virtue of reciprocity, altruism, consideration for others
zhi: knowledge
xin: faithfulness and integrity;
li: correct behavior, propriety, good manners, politeness, ceremony, worship.

if you read all of the above, neji has all the following principle of traits to the diagram.

ren:neji has shown the desire to protect both hinata& naruto for the good and for the hyuga& shinobi world. Through his sacrifice, it ultimately strengthened the resolve of the alliance to follow his example and fight to keep the bonds they had. To this end, neji became a martyr for the allied forces and his death inspired many.

yi: neji has shown his loyalty to the hyūga's main house and pledge to protect it.

zhi: neji is very knowledgeable of his clans secret. He managed to deduce his workings simply through observation to learn the forbidden technique that only main family can use thus further live up the title as a ``genius``.

xin: he has his shown very strong moral uprightness support to his team and for his clan as an honorable man. Neji's hobby was meditation according to the databooks and meditation is one of the most important things.

li: neji began trying to remedy the estranged relations between himself and the main house members, most particularly by being kinder to hinata and his uncle hiashi.

On the next bold the context stated that the positive yang forces (represented by the dragon), and the negative yin forces (represented by the phoenix).

You must be registered for see images

in the yin and yang metaphor, kishimoto has implemented that neji and lee to be phoenix and dragon. Neji represent the phoenix in other word, the "yin" negative attribute and rock lee represent the dragon illustrate as a "yang" force.

I`m well aware that the phoenix (fenghuang) is more known as female however hypothetically speaking, in han dynasty the phoenix is non-gender because according to the ancient the two phoenixes was one a male (feng,) and the other a female (huang,) were often shown together facing one other. Later, during the yuan dynasty the two terms were merged to become fenghuang but the "king of birds" came to symbolize the empress when paired with a dragon the emperor.

now some of you will ask me how does lee has to do with representing as a dragon. well if you go back at chapter 672, might gai was able to perform "night moth" formed exact like a dragon and that was his final move.

You must be registered for see images

we know rock lee haven't unlocked all gates, but he will go at the same process as gai did with performing midnight dragon. Furthermore, kishimoto also took the reference of bruce lee "enter the dragon" to depict him as a character.

You must be registered for see images

lastly, the last bit of the description indicated that the dragon represents wisdom and the phoenix represents rebirth.

Now rock lee has always made his words of wisdom and pledge to never give up his dreams, he represent the hard working theme. The youthful spirit drives him to where he's now

neji was always chained by his destiny, and was born very talented ninja. The curse mark were placed to ensure the branch member follows the orders of the main house and to protect the secrets of the byakugan in order to prevent falling into the wrong hand. In the naruto vs neji fight, we get a flashback where we see hizashi say to a young neji the following two things:

“you must live”

“oh, how i wish i had born you into the main branch”

when the death give him freedom, perhaps the yin form of energy and embodies creative rebirth and revitalization, which sets out the beginning of a new life that will bring both material and spiritual regeneration.

supreme energy ba gwa

the ultimate geometric symbol of the i-ching and the art of feng shui the ba gwa (eight trigrams) and is used as a powerful talisman. Smaller version of the ba gwa can be seen on walls and doors throughout asia since it beneficial effects are widely known. The center of this ba gwa contains the yin yang symbol known as the tai chi and represents the universal and eternal interaction between the forces of positive and negative. Together the two symbols provide both protection from harm and great fortune.

energy ba gwa

the hyuga clan, has the power of the 8 trigrams. Naruto, neji and hinata were always intended to interact as a complementary pair as part of a taoist theme. Yin, yang, the eight trigrams and sixty-four tetragrams make up the crux of taoist models of the physical universe and its behavior. Yang is the creative aspect while yin is the receptive aspect. Using the i ching, one attempts to gain insight into the universe through a sort of oracle sooth-saying: .

You must be registered for see images

hinata is yin - the material of existence and change with no shape or form and naruto is yang - the essence of energy and rigidity , the two accomplish nothing - but by combining different facets of each, one creates everything.

This leads us all back to the purpose of naruto - the goal. Neji believes that naruto and hinata have the same destiny, but naruto is saying to stop trying to predict the future with that byakugan of yours. Neji says "prove that you are right", and naruto beats him.
However, neji was destined to die protecting hinata. This further reinforce the taoist concept of destiny. Naruto shared the same destiny as hinata. He assumed that it meant naruto would be defeated by him - but this was a very narrow and conceited observation on his part.

You must be registered for see images

naruto didn't overcome his destiny. No one overcomes their destiny. One can only make peace with their destiny and how they justify their fulfillment of it. In some cases - it is believed that you do actually have a choice in the matter - but even then, you ultimately are fated to be presented with the choice (and therefor your fate is to make a choice - even if that choice is not predetermined).

There is a natural flow - a sort of 'destiny' to the universe and the things in it. All living things need to sustain themselves - this is the 'natural flow' or the 'destiny' of life.

even the taoist masters of legend had difficulty placing the concept of destiny into words and human description.

Just as kaguya's decisions led to the development of the ninja world, did they solidify a destiny for the one(s) who would return it to the natural order. The role of the uzumaki and the hyuuga is a product of destiny. Kaguya, through her actions, determined the nature of that destiny - and hagoromo further solidified that destiny.

You must be registered for see images

kaguya is sealed by a joint task force of uzumaki sages and hyuuga in a process involving the holy tree. This is the origin of the eight trigrams seal, the hyuuga's caged bird seal, and the dead demon consuming seal - which calls upon the essence of kaguya to seal away the chakra of those targeted by the uzumaki.

uzumaki were the one who safeguarded the secrets of the tree, the arts of the sage, and the art of sealing away energy. As such, they were destroyed by black zetsu and his plot to return kaguya to the world.

hyuuga safeguarded the secret of kaguya, guarding the portion that was wrought from her being. All but the head branch have their abilities sealed away to prevent them from using the forbidden chakra and slipping down the same path as kaguya.

I postulate that hinata is the reason the hyuuga remained behind - that she is a part of kaguya. Just as it is naruto's destiny to return the tree to its natural role. Neji has meddle in an attempt to guide naruto to choose a certain context of his destiny.

conclusion

now it all comes down to speculation.

After naruto and sasuke sealed and disrupt the infinite tsukoymi, hinata and everyone else gets their waking call, however either kaguya/ bz still lurking around which the world is about to break thus the sage sealing tool is still occurred which is why tenten has her role and also allow neji spirit to emerges and possibly as a phoenix and join with hinata& naruto and maybe going through this same process similar with obito physically gave spirit power to kakashi.

My whole point is that perhaps neji role is to reinforce taosim concept with either or both naruhina to balance the essence of combining one achievement that is if either both of them fails and fallen into the wrong hand which could also explained why hinata ask neji to protect naruto. Power must not rest in one person, because if it does it corrupts them, and the cycle beings anew. This is also why sasuke and naruto being equal is relevant. Opposing forces balance one another but yet lead to perpetual war.

excluding any asspull moments, the only 100% realistic shot Neji has of being res'd is if Madara were to return with 1 or both Rinnegan and dies for the very last time using RT.

Omg do u really have this spare time to create such a theory?
Yea, anyone has the time to make such excessive theory. Got problem??

The amount of Guests (63) viewing this thread is unreal. O_O
Wow, I didn't expect to have that many viewers on my thread o_O

Maybe we see Obito one more time in the spirit realm and as he's walking off with Rin.. He spots Neji and bada bing bada boom... Neji is back!!!

Yes it definately makes sense if Hamura is the Anchestor of both Hyuga and Uzumaki which ties in the Taosim concept of wei wu wei the parralism of Naruto and Hinata destiny aka Yin&Yang using the 8 trigram and and dead seal technique to seal and stop kaguya.

nice one

Thanks :)

Didn't you read my thread... I said we'll get to see Spiritual neji encounter with both Naruto&Hinata. I don't see anyone can simpily revive neji especially at this point, his body is decompose after all the nukes and Explosion, Madara is already been taken over at the moment.

Opposing forces balance one another BUT yet lead to perpetual war.
thats a lot of reading that i did not do...

Yea you do brought up the point, the Gedo Mazo in other word Hagoromo body is the resemblance of Amida which the cross-legged contemplation are the commons representation of real world Buddah statue and the transcendence ties in to Samsara who reign the 6 realm to guide one and another. What`s interesting to note one of them is the animal realms does indeed related to the snake (Naga) and the hawk (Garuda) and every animals summoning. Who knows maybe Kishi use these animals as metaphors for every characters which may perhaps ties in to Neji cage birds seal theory.

I`m certain certain clan such as The Hyuuga, I postulate, do not utilize ninjutsu (Which I`m aware Hagoromo led to ninjutsu) partially because it is 'beneath' their abilities, and partially because it expresses an attachment to the details of the mundane world. Kaguya seek the fruit of the Juubi to allow herself to be able to call forth the storms to produce lightning. Taoist philosophy holds that even the acts and path of those who are unnatural is, itself a part of the greater course of nature Likewise - Kaguya sought power that was not hers for a purpose that was of her decree. The decision may have been 'unnatural' and heretical - but the events spawning from it are completely natural

For example - where a ninja would call forth a gust of wind, a Hyuuga would call upon the wind. Where a ninja would charge with a fist full of lighting, a Hyuuga would call upon the lightning within a storm. The Hyuuga interact at a higher 'tier' of the universe and can possibly 'touch' the Tao, itself. The Tao is the 'form' upon which the divine inspiration shines - the resulting shadows give rise to yin and yang (as well as the infinite progression of yin-yang cycling). The goal of taoist internal alchemy is to attain the essence of divinity (some descriptions hold this as being permanent, others hold it as being a temporary state) - of grasping "true yang." This is likely the end goal of the Naruto series - a process known as the formation of the Elixir of Life or the Elixir of Immortality.

We know so little about the Hyuga that it is like speculating in the dark. Using what we know I think it’s possible to set out a rough framework for how they relate to the bigger picture but mostly it’s educated guesswork.

First off is the Hyuga royal line. I don’t necessarily think that it came from Hamura. In fact I’m not sure Hamura had kids at all. In order to have had kids he would need to have survived the fight with the Juubi. If he had survived the fight with the juubi then he’d be famous like his brother. There are no legends of the brothers who brought down the great beast nor are there legends of a prince or king or emperor who fought alongside the Sage.

I think the Hyuga might be the Royal line that Kaguya abandoned. If Kaguya was a princess then she was only a junior member of the family. Witnessing what happened with Kaguya, the family might have instituted the slightly crazy measures put in place to stop branch members running off with the family secrets. Not having any ninjutsu could be linked to them not being descendants of Kaguya and her chakra based techniques that resulted from eating the Shinju’s fruit. The Hyuuga still inherited the Byakugan because the family all had royal blood and not just Kaguya. The Ootsutsuki could have been the first branch family – one that the main family regretted not reining in.

I put Hamura at the heart of any Snake business. I think the IT plan is designed to resurrect him. Jashinism is based around concepts and techniques that rival Hagoromo’s Ninshuu. Only Hamura fits the bill as someone who could fill those shoes. I think he got eaten by the Juubi (Madara’s vision from 606) and I think he rode a snake into battle (he’s standing on a helmet in 670).

My thinking is that the Hyuuga preserve what Kaguya once belonged to, not what she passed down. At least that’s my rough outline for the clan. I hope Kishi comes back to them with a new storyline. I don’t think there is enough time to develop their story if the manga is to end with Kaguya. If they are to be developed properly then I think there needs to be a part three. Hinata is bound to hook up with Naruto, Hanabi is already guaranteed a role post any timeskip (she's one of the few characters with a new design for the new era project). Hinata’s royal line could provide a new direction for the story. As for the elixir of life – I always figured that to be the once every thousand years shinju fruit (which I imagine is due on Naruto’s birthday). Naruto reaching the same state without using a shortcut like Kaguya eating the fruit would be a worthy story.

I know next to nothing about Taoism. I'll have to read up before I can engage on the subject. These are only rough undeveloped ideas - I've tended to focus on Oro and his plans. I think Oro invaded the Leaf just to get his hands on Hinata samples and I think he or BZ were behind Hinata's original kidnapping. It's just a theory though and really there is not much in the way of hard evidence - just lots and lots of circumstantial material that seems to tie in to some bigger plot developments. Anyway I like your Hyuga threads - I've long held out hope that the clan will rise to prominence and Kaguya and Hamura with their Byakugan are a good sign.

I disagree , granted the hyuga clans may inherited from Kaguya species, but however I think Hamura invented the 8 trigram seal& Birdcage seal which he later become a founder of the Hyuga clan and he also invented the Dead Demon Consuming Seal which also speculate the ancestor of Uzumaki clan because it was stated in the legend that he use sealing technique to seal the juubi inside Hagoromo . I don't think there's any mentioning that Hamura must survive after the juubi incidence in order to raise some kids when there's also clear possibility that he got kids before the fight with the juubi. Which by the way this your point to your theory even more because it's possible during the sealing process something may corrupt Hamura and that's how Black zetsu was born. Maybe that's the end of Hamura tales.

Anyway, it wouldn't make any sense to say that Hagoromo spread the Hyuga clan and that the sharingan or rinnegan is the offspring of the Byakugan when it was already stated that the Senju (Ashura) and the Uchiha (Indra) combine it mutate into a Rinnegan and that the rinnegan is possibly the origin from the Holy fruit which contains curse of hatred which is why Kaguya was later become as a demon. We haven't seen Kaguya use 8 trigrams or any Hyuga clans techniques which is why I think Hamura is the origin of the Hyuga clan.

I think the Byakugan is a celestial Dojutsu. Hiashi refers the Hyuga power being the Celestial in chapter 101. Here In Viz Translation Hiashi Quotes "He is truly is... A Fearsome Natural Talent... So The Divine Shinobi Blood of the Hyuga Clan Resides in a child of the cadet Branch who can never become Heir...?"

Here's the words in Japanese thanks to takl

まさに…恐るべき天稟よ… 日向の天忍の血脈は…決して後目と れぬ分家の子に宿っているというの … ヒザシよ…やはり日向の家はお前が 」

Translation : O that truly formidable gift (of his)...the blood of celestial (/space) shinobi of the Hyuga is dwelling (/is prominent) in the branch family child who can never be the head of the clan

Though, to be fair, "divine" tends to refer to Gods or Godesses .... You know, like what Kaguya is.

Then again ... kanjis in Japanese can be read in many ways..... Take Hinata and hyuga. ..... They both can be written using the exact same kanjis

Or the word "kami" can mean many things, from holy, to god, to divine.... So it could be that there are multiple meanings.

I know the VIZ scans should be most reliable... But it would seem like the translators thought Divine would suit better than celestial at the time.... I mean, that happened all the way back 500+ chapters ago..... If i was translating that, and came across it.....It would have seemed weird to me for Hiashi to call his clan celestial beings... So it could be a misinterpretation.

However I think it's plausible that the Byakugan is a genetic trait of whatever species Kaguya is. Since it CLEARlY doesn't come from the juubi

Kaguya was taken from the The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter... and Kishi uses japanease mythology to inspire himself . Kaguya is possibly relate with the Moon People and Byakugan is the celestial dojutsu concludes that the Byakugan was among the first dojutsu.

One day, while walking in the bamboo forest, an old, childless bamboo cutter called Taketori no Okina (竹取翁?, "the Old Man who Harvests Bamboo") came across a mysterious, shining stalk of bamboo. After cutting it open, he found inside it an infant the size of his thumb. He rejoiced to find such a beautiful girl and took her home. He and his wife raised her as their own child and named her Kaguya-hime (かぐや姫 accurately, Nayotake-no-Kaguya-hime "princess of flexible bamboos scattering light"). Thereafter, Taketori no Okina found that whenever he cut down a stalk of bamboo, inside would be a small nugget of gold. Soon he became rich. Kaguya-hime grew from a small baby into a woman of ordinary size and extraordinary beauty. At first, Taketori no Okina tried to keep her away from outsiders, but over time the news of her beauty spread.

Eventually, five princes came to Taketori no Okina's residence to ask for Kaguya-hime's hand in marriage. The princes eventually persuaded Taketori no Okina to tell a reluctant Kaguya-hime to choose from among them. Kaguya-hime concocted impossible tasks for the princes, agreeing to marry the one who managed to bring her his specified item. That night, Taketori no Okina told the five princes what each must bring. The first was told to bring her the stone begging bowl of the Buddha from India, the second a jeweled branch from the island of Hōrai,[4] the third the legendary robe of the fire-rat of China, the fourth a colored jewel from a dragon's neck, and the final prince the cowrie which was born from swallows.

Realizing that it was an impossible task, the first prince returned with an expensive bowl, but after noticing that the bowl did not glow with holy light, Kaguya-hime saw through his deception. Likewise, two other princes attempted to deceive her with fakes, but also failed. The fourth gave up after encountering a storm, while the final prince lost his life (severely injured in some versions) in his attempt.

After this, the Emperor of Japan, Mikado, came to see the strangely beautiful Kaguya-hime and, upon falling in love, asked her to marry him. Although he was not subjected to the impossible trials that had thwarted the princes, Kaguya-hime rejected his request for marriage as well, telling him that she was not of his country and thus could not go to the palace with him. She stayed in contact with the Emperor, but continued to rebuff his requests and marriage proposals.

That summer, whenever Kaguya-hime saw the full moon, her eyes filled with tears. Though her adoptive parents worried greatly and questioned her, she was unable to tell them what was wrong. Her behaviour became increasingly erratic until she revealed that she was not of this world and must return to her people on the Moon. In some versions of this tale, it is said that she was sent to the Earth as a temporary punishment for some crime, while in others, she was sent to Earth for her own safety during a celestial war. The gold that Taketori no Okina had been finding had in fact been a stipend from the people of the Moon, sent down to pay for Kaguya-hime's upkeep.

Kaguya-hime goes back to the Moon
As the day of her return approached, the Emperor set many guards around her house to protect her from the Moon people, but when an embassy of "Heavenly Beings" arrived at the door of Taketori no Okina's house, the guards were blinded by a strange light. Kaguya-hime announced that, though she loved her many friends on Earth, she must return with the Moon people to her true home. She wrote sad notes of apology to her parents and to the Emperor, then gave her parents her own robe as a memento. She then took a small taste of the elixir of life, attached it to her letter to the Emperor, and gave it to a guard officer. As she handed it to him, the feather robe was placed on her shoulders, and all of her sadness and compassion for the people of the Earth were forgotten. The heavenly entourage took Kaguya-hime back to Tsuki-no-Miyako (lit. "the Capital of the Moon"), leaving her earthly foster parents in tears.

The parents became very sad and were soon put to bed sick. The officer returned to the Emperor with the items Kaguya-hime had given him as her last mortal act, and reported what had happened. The Emperor read her letter and was overcome with sadness. He asked his servants, "Which mountain is the closest place to Heaven?", to which one replied the Great Mountain of Suruga Province. The Emperor ordered his men to take the letter to the summit of the mountain and burn it, in the hope that his message would reach the distant princess. The men were also commanded to burn the elixir of immortality since the Emperor did not wish to live forever without being able to see her. The legend has it that the word immortality (不死 fushi?, or fuji) became the name of the mountain, Mount Fuji. It is also said that the kanji for the mountain, 富士山 (literally "Mountain Abounding with Warriors"), is derived from the Emperor's army ascending the slopes of the mountain to carry out his order. It is said that the smoke from the burning still rises to this day. (In the past, Mount Fuji was much more volcanically active.)

1. Kaguya was banished from the moon/world into earth so she wanted to go back
2. Kaguya wants to take vengeance on the Heavenly Beings that created the celestial war

Thus may explain why she need her white zetus army.

If you look at the Juubi carefully, it shows both the Rinnegan and Sharingan in its eye, yet there is no Byakugan mixed in there, implying it is unrelated. If kishi wanted, he could have made juubi's eyelike obito's war mask so to represent all three eyes; tomoes with ripples and a white colour, yet he makes the juubi's eye red instead.

Then there's the fact that sharingan (in MS/EMS state) and rinnegan have demonic powers unlike Byakugan. There's also the fact that Byakugan is something hyugas are naturally born with, while sharingan has to have special chakra sprout in order to awaken while rennigan needs ashura+indra to awaken.

Also, while Rennigan and sharingan can't be deactivated by foreign users, Byakugan can be. It doesn't really mean much, but it once again shows a difference between the byakugan and the other two eyes.

So knowing that Byakugan is almost certainly NOT apart of the juubi, is it really satisfactory to say Kaguya had it and leave it at that? I don't think so, hence why I believe it is an eye that is naturally found in kaguya's species.

I think rennigan, sharingan, and ALL elemental kekkai genkais came from the juubi. I think the only two kekkai genkai that come from Kaguya and/or her species are the Byakugan and kimimaru's bone manipulation

Thanks man, glad that works for you :)

Not that I'm against this theory. But what would Neji do when he came back? Get killed again?
Jeez, don't you people ever read. Who said neji is going to revive, I said we're going to see neji spiritual encounter just like what obito did...

Wow, interesting...I guessing that if Kishi makes more Naruto, possibly it will be with Hamura's secrets...and yes...Hyuga could be involved...
or maybe it will be revealed in movie, who knows

The trouble with that is that Hamura does use KKG of sorts - he has onmyoton which is one elemental recomposition technique above the Kekkai Tota which in turn is one level above KKG. Hamura's Staff is made of Onmyoton just as the Gudoudama are. He also has Kuchiyose no Jutsu (which is a space time ninjutsu) if he is standing on a helmet (which isn't proven yet but I think I can make a better argument for that than any other theory on what the mounds are).

The Hyuuga have not exhibited any nature recomposition. As far as I'm aware they simply release chakra from their tenketsu. They also have no summoning jutsus. If they were the royal line passed down from Hamura then I'd expect them to have some ninjutsu since Hamura and Hagoromo inherited their power not just from their mother but the Shinju as well. That's why I think the Hyuuga branch away from the Ootsutsuki before Kaguya and why they retain their royal line with blood uncorrupted, so to speak.

Depending on the translations you trust Hamura should also be immortal if the Juubi was sealed inside him alongside his brother. Hagoromo never died - his spirit just transcended. Those who contain the Gedo Mazo (Hagoromo's body according to my theory) can survive having bijuu ripped from inside them (an otherwise mortal blow). Hamura's body would have had the same power if it wasn't eaten by the Juubi (at least that's the idea).

I think the first part of what you say on Hyuga not having Ninjutsu makes sense but I don't think it applies to Hamura. I can only argue theory with theory and this is a manga that defies the laws of nature so who knows in the end… but there are reasons even within the rationale of the manga to disagree with you on the points I do.

I really hope he doesn't come back. He's my third favourite character but it will just make his sacrifice meaningless, and it will take away the feeling of 'death has a consequence'; let's not do a DBZ.
