You know, the worst part is how the conflict between Kaguya and main characters was so forced. I mean, usually their opponents were the ones twisted by the ninja system so basically they could have something in common, which made the conflicts more interesting. Kaguya however brought up the ownership of chakra conflict - something that has never come up before in the series. No one ever questioned whether ninjas should have chakra or not, it was all about changing the system.
I guess Kishi did it so that Naruto wouldn't have a reason to try to understand Kaguya and change her mind by sympathizing with her, but the end result was just too boring - just a general boss enemy that is to be defeated.
