Haven't found the time to continue, the only time I'm on my laptop I'm doing college shit, I will continue reading but you can say I haven't been pulled in enough to go out of my way and read it.

I have the opposite problem: I tend to think everything is sarcasm :|

I guess it's due to all people I know (including myself) mostly speaking sarcastically or with exaggerations, in real life.

It's not that we joke constantly, it's a manner of speaking/communication. I guess it has something to do with our mentality - we are used to not having any faith or trust in our future, government, or each other fundamentally, so we are always prepared to double check things that are said to us, not taking them literally.
