Yeah I like Dante as well it's just the fighting style that makes the difference for me I guess. Vergil's is way better but that's my opinion on that. I like the both equally from a personality stand point

I like playing with both, but I can set up sweeter combos with Dante. Since you play as him the majority of the time. I like vergils fighting style a bit better in the newer DMC game, it's more fluid to me. Though I liked him in dmc3.
Yeah because the combos are of course more sophisticated with Dante as he is the MC. But you also have more weapons with him so greater combos are certainly easier. The fighting style seemed pretty similiar to me. There were many attack combos that were taken from DMC3 actually. Tho the character itself looks stupid, the personality is pretty much the same as in the old one after his downfall. Dante is different in every way, tho I still like him, I don't unterstand all the hate for him.

Maybe I got better with his timing then from DMC3 lol & Fanboys don't like change in anything, but it's not like it was a bad remake. I thought everything was good about it actually, the plot, the gameplay, the characters(except they kind of made Vergil douchey looking). But I felt like they nailed how younger versions of their characters would be and the conspiracy thing was cool.
Yeah there even was a petition to stop the game from spreading because Dante's new hair, old hardcore fanboys were saying they don't accept the new one bla bla bla
The game was great yeah, an entire reboot. It actually was great, especially the map design, oh man that shit was awesome. Although I didn't really like the Background lol I mean of Sparda. They completely changed him from an almost god like figure into a fodder who is burning in hell for the rest of his existence lol but otherwise it was a great game no doubt, I wouldn't mind another part. But there still are some questions from the original series, the part where Vergil dies, that's still in question right now.

Oh wow, they did the most. Especially since you can unlock a white haired Dante...Yeah he lost to mundus in this one, I admit I laughed at that though when first when I played, it was complete castration of the old one. I would love if they made one for the next gen, they should set up Virgil's death in a similar way to number 3 but with a different take. If they keep the same emotion it should be good.

I heard about a remake for DmC. But the next one will probably be released next year. They said they want to go from 5 year (or something like that) developement to 3 year.
Well I'm talking about the original series. Because after Vergil thought Munuds he became corrupted but didn't really die he only fought Dante in DMC1 and then practically disappeared. But in DMC4 which obviously players later Dante used the Yamato to seal the underworld like his father did but the question is when did Vergil die?

I don't think they're following the original series though with the reboot. Vergil will probably die a different way in this one. In DMC4 Vergil had already been dead for a while, he died when Dante was younger like in DMC 3. That's why Vergil isn't in 2 and 4.

No they don't that's why it's a reboot and Dante and Vergil are Nephilims and no half blooded demons and the story is different.
Vergil didn't die after DMC3, he reappeared as Nelo Angelo in DMC1. The chronologic would be:
- DMC3
- DMC1
- DMC4
- DMC2
And that's stated by wiki, so what happened between DMC 1 and DMC 4 is the question I'm asking because in DMC1 he disappears but is never seen dead, but in DMC 4 he is dead.
