I don't get your point. Wave wasn't focusing on Syura, he was focusing on saving Kurome. It's only that he held a grudge against Syura for doing that stuff in the empire. Wave never wanted to fight Syura, he just can't forgive anyone who does that stuff to his comrades. But it isn't as heavily spoken as anything else.

Fact is that the last volume focused on Wave and Run fighting off with a Wild Hunt because of a personal reason. Chapter 46-47 was Wave fighting it off with Syura and interacting with his fellow comrades, 47-48 was Run interacting with his fellow comrades (getting closer to them), revealing his background and fighting it off with Champ. Fact is, last volume didn't focus on Run any less than it did focus on Wave so yeah, Run was heavily focused on last volume.​

I would agree to an extent, he was focused on more or less around the end of the volume, but for 80% of it was about majority of the other events. Syura should've actually gotten the cover because he was the main villain of the arc, much like how the last arc had Esdeath on the cover as the main villain of the arc.
