There's a lot of possibilities involving Kabuto : He can't be on SM already , Karin never met Kabuto when he planted Oro's chakra , so why would she know if it is him ? . The Viz translation makes it even clear with what Oro said about a guy getting out from the cave & taking Sauskes body , he doesn't know Kabuto might be a new if he got out of Izanami , so of course they are expecting the worst . Also remember that chakra & presence change depending on what the character is doing & believing on (like Sauske)

My bet is that he is on SM .
