I don't think soul eater is a shonen Jump but DB definitely is. Not that it matters though.

Also Tatsumi x Esdese is a legit choice.

He pulled a noob move when you think about.

Imagine if he would have just waited for the rest of the jaegers? Or better yet let them know that he found the hideout. Stylish and his goons plus Kurome and her dolls would've been game over for night raid.

Yeah, but he had ulterior motives (Only on 29 atm) from what I can see. He wanted to experiment on them and their weapons. The real noob move was not eating more of his minions when he had the chance, or keep a few more back to eat so he could get even stronger.

God, every character in this manga is great. I honestly don't hate a single one and the conversations/friendships are believable.

He's a bit overconfident and also luck was on the Night Raid's side with Susanoo arriving. Can't say it was his fault though, his plan would've worked he was simply very unlucky.

I get his motives but he could have gotten his test subjects if he would've been patient in my opinion.. You are about to get to an extremely good part right now, I wish I could read what you're about to read for the first time again.

Also hell yeah, love the characters and dialogue too. There's only one character I don't like but he has yet to be introduced to you yet. I'm glad your digging it though that's great to hear.
