It's not even gory... What's gory is shit like Dorohedoro and Berserk.

I'm actually serious. He either couldn't handle the gore or has a bad anime/manga taste and reads only Naruto. (._. )​

Pretty much. Naruto ain't even that good. In my opinion animes like Akame ga Kiru (Soon to be), Mirai Nikki, Guilty Crown, etc. are a lot better than Nardo.​
