Rabac ended up like that due to 2 things: he's slower and obviously knows little about combat, dodging Wave's punch but put him in an awkward position, he looks like he was about to fall with that dodge alone. Mine didn't shoot the guy with her huge beam because Akame was also there, and she noticed that he was paying attention so she didn't bother shooting the small laser since it'll be futile. Her original plan was to sneak away and wait for the perfect moment, but since he was aware at all times she didn't shoot. Mine couldn't aim properly at Seryuu because she was injured at the time, a healthy Mine wouldn't let that happen.

On that scan, Zank was letting his guard down because the method of transforming into someone his opponent loves worked all the time. Despite Akame being the first to actually bring able to strike back, he still blocked her attack. The entire fight Akame couldn't scratch him until his blades broke, while Zank managed to hurt her. Kurome used drugs and it enhanced her reaction, but still Mine's cutting down shot is faster than her normal ones. I guess Wave catching up to Akame can be seen that way, but look at it at a different way, Mine was able to track Wave's fastest speed and shot him.

Knows little about combat -> Rabac? Considering how it has been shown that he constantly tricks his opponents via his threads in either CQC or ranged combat, that was a poor choice of words as Rabac knows plenty about combat. And it didn't look like he was about to fall since to me it looked like he barely dodged the attack and just seemed surprised at how close the attack was to connecting with his body. Hence the whoa!. You can imply that was Wave's fastest speed, but the fact it that it was a linear attack from the air. Tracking it is much more simple than tracking quick movement on the ground <--- I'll take the example of this right out of Naruto. When Itachi did the same thing as Wave - attacked them from the air with a linear attack - Naruto was capable of intercepting his attack and counter it

, however when Itachi moved on the ground, he was capable of crossing the same exact distance as in his previous attack before Naruto could even move his arm.

Quite simple. Linear movement is much more easier to track and react to than constant evasive movement such as

Tatsumi was capable of tracking Akame's movement while she was running right at him in a linear attack, but as soon as she moved up and changed the linear pattern of her attack, Tatsumi didn't even know how she got behind him. Grand Fall is a linear attack that doesn't allow Wave the freedom of moving up, down, left or right. He simply moves in a linear pattern which isn't hard to track despite his speed as your eye doesn't really have to move along with the target as opposed when the target constantly moves left, right, up. As for the bold, the fact that she had the gun pointed at their direction and was shocked when she saw Wave glance at her, claiming that Wave was looking out for a side shot from her in a shocked manner, implying that she was planning to shoot. You can use Mine was injured so she couldn't properly aim at Seryuu as a counter in her defense, but the fact was that Seryuu herself was on a ground on which she couldn't really use evasive tactics in order to evade the blast as she was slidding down a rock.

What really crushes the argument of Akame simply being shot by a blast is the fact that Mine has multiple things she has to prepare first. The first and most important thing is that just like a Puppet Master who needs to release his stronger puppet from a scroll, Mine has to take to get her gun from the ''backpack'' or whatever you wish to call it placed on her back. ] For plot reasons, Seryuu waited for Mine to do so. Akame? Not so much. This is a huge opening that can easily be ended by a quick blitz. Just as a Puppet Master doesn't simply walk around with his or her puppet out at ready neither does Mine walk around with her gun at ready. Another advantage Akame has is the charge up time every Mine's blast has. Fact is; the blast has to charge up first before being released. Admitedly, it doesn't take long, but to someone like Akame who can react before the shoot is actually released will give her a huge advantage over Mine's attacks as she would be evading before the shot itself is actually released and reaches her much like Wave did.

And Mine's biggest disadvantage is the power of her own Teigu. Pumpkin gets stronger by time when it gets more and more dangerous, meaning Mine has to buy some time before her Teigu can produce the bigger blasts such as the ones Mine used against Wave. However, is that even possible against Akame? Can she buy time? Unlikely, as the shots produced by Pumpkin in the beginning shall be

and Akame will go straight for Mine and since Mine's speed or reaction time are not comparable to Akame's, the former shall easily win in a CQC battle. TL;DR; Speedblitz gg.

Implying that Zank was simply caught off guard won't do the trick as he can predict the movements of his enemy and look inside their mind. He should have seen it coming, but couldn't. Becuase Akame was too fast. Fact is; Despite the abilities of his Teigu and speed, he got

to me. Ran was confident he could beat Akame if they were to fight, but because that would require him to get down and close to her, he's also vulnerable for an attack. But most importantly, he had to slow down, Mine shot him while he was flying fast and he couldn't react to dodge it. And it wasn't a cut down shot, she didn't drag it or anything and it was only one ray. She wasn't able to use it because the manta was dying and spinning and such, and she could only manage to stand up for like a second, then lost balance and fell and grabbed on the Manta's body like everyone else.

In her previous fight against Ran, Akame was capable of reacting to already moving feathers which by far have shown to be faster than Mine's blasts except maybe, just maybe the cut-down shot and even managed to grab two other people and bring them with her tells us that

. And once again, Ran knew that if he got closer Akame would strike him down and the only reason he was confident that he could kill her is not because he can keep up with her in the speed department, it's because he was confident that his trump card would beat her.

She blocked the bullets and you could see her eyes were closed at the time. When she opened her eyes and had that little diamond thing, you can clearly tell she wasn't looking at Seryuu, she was still facing up.

The point about the manta is fair since admitedly, I haven't bothered to look at the previous chapter. Not that it matters since as in Wave's case, Mine once again managed to scratch a linear moving Ran. [

As for the Seryuu part, I'm going to agree with that, but considering that Seryuu could cross such a distance and surprise Mine despite her eyes being closed only less than a second which happens to be when the bullets come into contact with her gun is telling me that each and every blink Mine makes is an advantage for Akame. And no matter if you wish to accept it or not, Mine called that shot the ''cut-down shot'' so it is the ''cut-down'' shot.​

Noticed it's arms position, they were at the same position, meaning he couldn't even react to move a muscle. And Mine's swing speed is so fast, not even Seryuu with a gun pointed at Mine could react and fire off one single shot.

You don't understand, Akame can't outrun it. Just imagine yourself holding a pen as a gun and try to keep up with a person some distance away. They can't possibly outrun it as they have to cover a great distance compared to you just rotating your wrist and you would still be able to keep your pen pointed at them. Mine already can keep Pumpkin on target, the reason Wave could dodge it was because of the travel time of the bullet, which gives him time to dodge. But Mine must already had her gun pointed at him, on target in the first place to be able to do that. This time it's different because the laser stream is constant, Akame gets pointed at she dies, there's no bullet travel time. If Mine can track Wave and Ran max speed Akame won't be a problem.

They were in the same position because they were simply falling like that and Seryuu lacks actual fingers and had to take out those hand guns at first. Seryuu undoubtedly can't fire off the bullets with that gun quickly as even Schere was capable of blocking it with her Teigu. I get your point cleary, but that's not the case. Simply moving the gun doesn't mean that Akame shall die as Akame is quite faster than Mine even then not to mention that shot only managed to scratch Ran and Akame will either completely evade it or will keep on fighting with a minor scratch while Mine won't be able to use that shot again. Fact is; that shot isn't that large and it can simply be evaded by jumping or ducking much like Wave avoided her shots.​

From what i see, the woman can go on high and low ranges, both of them. There really are some cases in which the voice actor can voice in 1 anime a child and in another, an adult. There's Hiroshi Kamiya, Levi (AoT) and Shu Ouma's ( Guilty Crown) voice actor and many more. The man even voiced a talking squirrel. That's talent there.

Seryuu doesn't sound that bad..I'm concerned about Esdese, though :\
