Only Gaara and maybe Mei should be alive, in the Kages. The rest are not really needed for the future. They served their purpose.
God. I know it was inevitable. But I hate the current power scale. Even the power scale back at 560-70 was a bit too much for me. Naruto's never been a manga about large scale attacks. I preferred it when a select few had an OP jutsu that had consequences.
For Itachi, he'd lose some of his eye sight and it made him vulnerable.
Pein would have to focus his chakra into the Deva Path to use it's larger scale techniques.
Deidara fucking died!
Now it's just a spam fest.

I feel this manga should have ended after Nagato died with Kisame dying before him so that Pein (The leader of Akatsuki) dies last. After that, it all went downhill. And possibly skip all of this Tobi shit or just let him stay on the Akatsuki path and making him die as an Akatsuki member instead of bringing in all this Obito, Madara, Minato, etc. shit. And Itachi could have been evil..

Have Sasuke come during the Pein arc and either fight Naruto to the death, or have him help Naruto.. .And basically have the arc go on as it's usual path. Maybe without a TNJ... Then it woulda been good.
The following arcs aftr the Pein arc do feel, i'unno, weird. Like, they're not great...Or as good as the previous three arcs.
If they just pushed the Pein arc back a bit, handled Obito/Kisame/Zetsu....
