I have not watched the movie, so I might be missing something here, but didn't PS canonically defeat Momoshiki with Kinshiki absorbed? How can he even deal with a shockwave from PS? Those are not even made of Chakra.

As Lord Seventh has shown, PS Kurama>>PS or Kurama alone. As shown in the Juubito fight when Sasuke's use Iso Susanoo their constructs actually merge together. Then there's the fact that the sword obviously looks different from the regular PS blade. The blade is lighter than the hilt, and the swing caused lightning strikes.
