Pretty much what Howlett said. If you look at chapter 234, Marco didn't even have his tat on his chest. It was added in the digital color chapters so could've been a mistake on Oda's part. I'm not sure if official colors were decided for Marco/Jozu at the time as well.

Yeah and seeing how Oda said MF is a sidetrip, it's possible there's more wars to come i.e Kaido vs BM. I hope there is a war arc focused on them fighting and with minimal SH involvement.

No? LOL Dude I'm only at Enies lobby arc but I know most stuff that happens and even what is currently going on in the manga. How I tackle series in terms of getting caught up is weird but its fun. :P
