I really like how this filler arc portrays gamamaru. He is basically the light version of black zetsu. Pulling strings without fighting to have Kaguya's sealed away. He's a lot more epic than that old toad we got in the manga.

There is so many new bankais or lesser characters who could get spotlight. Every week I open the manga hoping for a cool new chapter. and every week I am disappointed by about 5-10 pages of very little consequence. I wish they would just end it at this point instead of wasting time.

If you die after opening the eighth gate, how do people learn to use it? Lee can only open six gates which implies it is not an easy technique to learn and doesn't just come naturally. Do you think that you only die if you open it for a certain period of time? It just doesn't make sense to me.
