I don't understand how advanced uchiha abilities were "diagnosed"...esp when it is something like Kotoamatsukami of Shishui Uchiha. If it is an MS ability and can be used only once in 10 years, how did people find out he had it in the first place???

Am I the only one who wonders why Izanagi isn't put to better use?? I mean if you can turn reality to illusion and vv, why not destroy entire cities or kingdoms using Izanagi? For example when Danzo was given 60 seconds of Izanagi why did he not use it to do a lot more stuff...like kill Sasuke?
