Izanagi to kill?

Am I the only one who wonders why Izanagi isn't put to better use?? I mean if you can turn reality to illusion and vv, why not destroy entire cities or kingdoms using Izanagi?

For example when Danzo was given 60 seconds of Izanagi why did he not use it to do a lot more stuff...like kill Sasuke?

I believe when they imply turn "reality into an illusion" they mean, that they turn their victims reality into the illusion making the victims of Izanagi witness "reality" when actually it is an Illusion.. So you implying "why not destroy entire cities or kingdoms using Izanagi" one could not in true reality, but only in the illusion. In reality the city, or kingdom would be untouched. Izanagi just shifts the victims reality into an illusion nothing more, and nothing less.

Izanagi is only used on yourself. And so6p jutsu is creation of all things, not izanagi.
