My favorite villain so far would have to be Orochimaru. We've seen much more of his character, abilities and goals than Madara, so maybe when we see more of Madara he will become my favorite.

Hidan was too one dimensional. He NEEDED to draw blood to do anything. On top of the he was self admittedly the slowest attacker in Akatsuki. Thats a horrible combination to have. Plus he was the least intelligent, making it even worse.
