Couple of questions -Does sasuke need juggo to be present in order to use the curse mark seal? Cuz i thought he gained the CM power back during this time and lastly - Did sasuke anticipate obito becomeing the new sage of path? thus seeking orochimaru+juggo help in order to gain the CM...

yeah but once again... if you look in the second to last scan i provided. you can see sasuke+juggo observing and other AS ninja being killed by the trees branches.

..... so sasuke evaded the branches? it looks to me that the branches were right in front of sasuke+juggo, if you look at it you can see the branches still attached to the dead ninja.. so how you say it wasnt doesnt make any sense
