I would tell you to watch it unless you're some kind of manga purist. I enjoyed it but it did have some plotholes or not analysis in depth. You won't lose anything, it's more like a what if scenario.

Visiting Suzuya's boss is something I find rather unlike. Hide on the other hand is one of the very few people with whom Touka felt friendly up to a point, who knows, she might just feel guilty for him ending like that since he was trying to help all along.

You know you might say that Hide was eaten but I'm still not sure about that, not quite yet. I think there is a good chance that he survived, not 100% but I definetely don't leave this out. Ιn the tokyo ghoul re, I don't remember the chapter and please excuse me for being too lazy to find it...
