Well if the manga is in fact canon it's not doing a good job explaining things, so far it's just random investigators talking about imformation and cases blah blah blah. I'm losing interest.

I am so confused already, where are all of kaneki's friends? Where is kaneki? Didn't he died? And why are there so many weird investigators? and who is sasaki? ughh... Is Tokyo ghoul:re even canon?

Is everything flashbacks and fillers from chapter 69 on out? I checked chapter 70, 71 72 and the manga doesn't seem to get back on track on the ghoul war where it left in chapter 68, it's all random. I'm really confused.
