So Naruto has the sunspot (ha, get it? ;D ) on his right hand, and Sasuke on his left hand. My guess is that once Hamura gives them his own powerup, it'll be on Naruto's left hand and Sasuke's right hand. Just thought I'd point it out :)

The whole point of the opening any of the Eight Gates is to blow open the restrictions the body puts on one's chakra. So no, all the chakra flow would simply burst past the block. At least, that's what I can think of given the extent of my knowledge.
