Hagoromo, BZ, and Kaguya all said that they're the transmigrants of Ashura and Indra. Yet, she still calls them Hagoromo and Hamura.

I'm not saying they're their reincarnations, but they are indirectly linked to the two brothers as a whole (sealing jutsu, two of them against one, Yin and Yang, yadda yadda).

Yeah if we exclude the Rinnegan and horns, Naruto would look similar to Hagoromo and Sasuke to Hamura.
