This isn't my logic, I'm simply pointing out why his logic is flawed, he believes that he is responsible soley because he is the one who taught him. he failed to take into account the decisions and choices Nagato made on his own.

And, if you're going to use logic like this, then you can trace everything back to Kaguya for stealing chakra in the first place. This type of logic just isn't right.

No he's not, Nagato took Jiraiya's teachings and used them for the wrong reason. He also greatly misinterpreted everything he heard about peace, and how Jiraiya wanted people to feel each others pain. He was terribly misguided on his own merits, and he was also brainwashed to an extent by Obito.
