Are you forgetting that that Madara isn't the only one that has used his DNA? Danzo use it, Yamato has it, Zetus has it, Tobi has it. So many people have used his cells for a power up. All these people came along long after all the other Kages lived. Both Orochimaru and Kabuto conducted...

Just his opinion? So how many people are using Minato's or Hiruzen's or Itachi's cells for power ups? Nobody? But they're stronger than Hashirama... explain yourself.

Even though he's the least talked about Hokage he was by far the most effective politically. He prettyy layer how the ninja system will work for his village which it seems the other places followed as well.
