no itachi said it in the manga, normally shusui powerful genjutsu would take 10 years to reactivate, but with hashirama chakra it only takes 30 mins to reactivate

he could heal himself without seals or any medical ninjutsu, and his chakra was very powerful, powerfull enough to make shuisui eye techniques work in a 30 min time interval rather than 10 years
