I think so. So far, the only people able to get EMS had a brother, but in the manga, I think it said a close relative or "clansman" was the exact words. But it also said that sometimes it didn't always work. So, who knows?

I don't know if this question has already asked or if it's stated in the manga, but is Itachi's MS still hurt him? Does it hurt when he uses Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, or Susanoo? And even in Edo Tensai, will it make him go blind if he uses it too much? If it doesn't, this makes it similar to EMS...

To be fair, Sasuke doesn't know that Tobi did it. At least, I don't think there's evere been any indication that he does.

It only hurts his arm when he attacks the person with it like Rasengan. Recently, he's been throwing the Rasenshuriken. I don't believe throwing the Rasenshuriken hurts his arm.

I kinda agree with you. People make a big deal out of it and say it has the same power as Naruto's Kyuubi Mode. I don't see the big deal about it. :shrug:
