It's always worked like that. Post count never reflected the number of posts that you currently can view on the forum, but the total posts you have made in total including trashed threads. As soon as we are done with making the frozen state of the NB site available you will be able to get your...

Some large threads have been trashed for the migration to be possible, some threads have also been archived as they belonged to sections that have been disabled, however all of it still exist but in a hidden archive as chopped up parts and the post count is still counted for all the threads.
