The one thing wrong with this above all else is that Madara thinks that Izuna is dead. http://www.narutobase.net/manga/Naruto/577/7 He probably has no idea who Tobi is. That's the only reason I still think he could be Izuna.

I still have doubts as to whether Sasuke will change his mind. That's the only problem, though. Madara could definitely use Izanami, but I don't think he will.

Doubtful, considering Kabuto couldn't reach his body to retrieve his DNA (and then the scales of the war would be tilting in Akatsuki's favor:))
