I just finished re-watching the whole series and i was wondering is vol 8 a filler volume? Like it doesn't affect the story if you don't read it and skip to vol 9? I heard that in a facebook page so i dunno if that's true or not. Vol 1 - 7 = Anime 26 episodes.

I just watched Fate/Zero and UBW and imo is one of the best animes I've ever seen in my life, although it has a lot of talking/dialogues, it was good to watch and spend time on it. The animation is superb, the soundtracks are outstanding, and they're used in the perfect moment which is good...

Who was the character that made the most impact in the plot/story wise? In my opinion i would say orochimaru because he was the one that perfected ET, therefore, reviving orochimaru, the akatsuki, itachi and many more made the manga more enjoyable i guess and made the plot progress further...
