Tatsumi - we had the story told through his perspective for the majority of the manga and his development was the most significant. Akame feels like she was intended to be the mc but the author scrapped it, then changed his mind later towards the end. Aside from being OP, she's a blank slate...

Eh.. I guess it was alright. I still think the story was butchered after Wild Hunt was introduced, but as an ending it is what it is.
