What this guy said ^^ I doubt that anybody is fast enough to do the handseals required to perform the ninjutsu you stated, before amaterasu ignites you. It may work before the technique is even used, but then why would he continue through with using Amaterasu, when he cannot see his target...

You find it outrageous, why? We've seen Suigetsu's hydration technique tank a bijuu dama from the 8 tails, so why would a technique used by the Rikudo Sennin who fought the Juubi, not be able to absorb it? Edit: I know its a different sort of technique, but I said in terms of level of technique.
