Like Zat said, you dont really need a deep understanding of it. Its mostly a strategy and political game where you can Scheme against others, fight, ally with others, build structures and armies and more as you build your House up. Its a mix of DND inspired mechanics with RTS/grand stretgy games mixed in.

A large portion of it revolves around reading and with NBers favorite past time being to not read, I expect it to stay mostly a smaller game.

My first char I tried finding lesser known anime characters for the appearance of my character and then customising everything else
