100% what Kooljay said. Make me a sensei/mod. Dugeons of low and high levels for 1-however many players. Always refreshing/accessible at any given time. We should be able to get rewarded for doing things alone on our own time as we are all busy as well as when we have time to do groups, for groups as well. Always active. Forget special events with the amount of current players because as it stands when random special events are held, either some players can do them while others can't or don't know they're even happening or there is a falloff due to real life stuff. Not saying they should never be hosted but good rewards should be tied to things like the previously mentioned dungeons and interactions and not exclusive to random chance or tournaments where some bios just completely outshine others. Make the NW smaller. Not stupid small as we aren't idiots and know how to traverse it but it should not take me a milenia to hunt down or interact with one of the five different players only to have to go right back to my clan HQ to interact with them and have to wait a milenia for that as well. You guys need to hand out tailed beasts to the current players. There aren't even enough players to fill them all and IF the game grows, then let it be acceptable for challenges and all that to be made. Give out the rest of the Arms of the Unifier as well. Why not? Literally, why not? Give Kooljay two of em. **** it. Some bio restrictions and mixes should be lifted as some of these restrictions make no sense in this state of the game. Also in tandem with that, I hate to ask this, but it's needed to some degree. Of those who are still active and want to play, what exactly are you guys looking for in the game at this point? As in, is there something that is of reasonable interest to you that you'd like seen implemented. We've asked this question time and time again, but with whomever is left- we want to make this as enjoyable as possible for you all, and we want to prioritize a fun, clean and dynamic experience for all still involved.
Please dont lurk and dont answer, we're doing this for you guys and will be taking all suggestions (within reason) seriously.
Mount K stays tho.
Fair enough, we'll look at a way to make it more accessible and/or easier to achieve.Kumi and/or more achievable bios and abilities. As it stands, its kind of implausible to unlock end game things or to explore them with the low amount of players and low activity.
Will definitely cook up something for the NW.NW activity, automate rifts and whatnot.

We need more staff. Period. We've tried this small community small staff thing. It didn't work. I'm not even going to attempt to play again until we get an appropriate amount of staff for the amount of workload. Like, that alone is getting on my nerves. Whoever is in charge keeps doing nonsensical things that aren't working. That needs to stop. Its for the birds. One mod and one sensei is not enough for ALL customs, bios, NW, BW, battle checks, NPC interactions/battles AND events. That's not even a thing with only three active players. More staff. Make Kooljay a mod at this point. I don't care. He knows what he's doing. We all do to a certain degree because we've been playing this shit since the 80s and that's why I said before quite a few times any of us can be staff but its time to evolve. Make it happen.
Shishou were a system for training, which barely exists in the current state of the game. What you're suggesting is more Sensei, not Shishou. As stated above, it will be a consideration as we continue - it won't remain just myself and Ian.I feel like a different variety of abilities that are on the same level as YY would be cool. It so boring if YY is all everyone has to look forward to. Wanna be strong? YY. Wanna make sth cool? YY. Wanna do anything? YY
If we have more skills that are on the same level as YY then that makes it fun because not, not everyone will have the same stuff. I think bring back Anutu and scale it down, and add maybe create another ability thats also on that level? Idk man I just think we're lacking variety when it come to end game abilities.
I agree with Troi on a smaller NW. Mount K stays tho.
And lastly on staffing. Look I get it, y'all dont want to give people power or access to mod chat or sensei chat or whatever. I understand that. I had suggested for a shishou system, just to help with the day to day but that got ignored. Bio checking, CJ checking,Mission checking, Story building, etc. Life gets busy for everyone, but when there's enough people to help then the game doesn't come to a halt when majority of the staff goes MIA. I remember when NB med school was still a thing Shishous (myself included) trained other members because mods and sensei were busy with other duties (and mind you that was when there were thousands of active Rpers, imagine how easy it would be now), and that made training go from 700 years per reply to like weeks. If there was something we didn't understand we just ask the sensei or mod.
Mods get to keep their power sensei's get to keep their power or whatever. Heck shishous can even create their own chat if this is about fear of them invading a space where mods and sensei feel like its only for them. As long as the game is not halted it really doesn't matter. The suggestion isn't really about getting power or whatever. All big decisions will still run from the top.
But will it blend? That is the question! Will definitely cook up something for the NW.
Guess we'll have to find out!But will it blend? That is the question!

And I agree to that up to an extent. End game is still end game however, and I personally believe it still should be a bit harder to achieve some of them, within reason. I can agree with a bit more Kumi opportunities, but I do believe in keeping most of the restrictions/kumi values remaining the same. Attaining these bios aren't impossible, its just the amount of activity for such a small community now makes seem that way lol. I hear you though.Kumi and/or more achievable bios and abilities. As it stands, its kind of implausible to unlock end game things or to explore them with the low amount of players and low activity.
NW activities and stories are going to be our main focus moving forward for awhile, as we do realize that is where things has been lapsing the most. L and I will be revisiting the current arc and making an attempt at either finishing it or concluding it so we can start fresh. Rifts will be introduced soon, but them being automated will likely not happen, as I feel some level of moderation is still required for them to operate effectively.NW activity, automate rifts and whatnot.
I'll try to address this to the best of my ability and in portions so I'm not all over the place. As L said, we aren't going to be the only ones on staff, but ultimately it will take a bit of time for us to figure things out. Not super long, but definitely a bit of time as we are still settling in now as we are and once we figure out the plot of the NW out, everything else kind of lands smoothly in place. The NW as is, already has been condensed quite a bit as Tobusekai (Eastern Continent) and Kamiyasumi aren't explorable, at least for now and most things are relatively close by at the moment, but I understand. I just dont think further condensing it would make too much of a difference imo.100% what Kooljay said. Make me a sensei/mod. Dugeons of low and high levels for 1-however many players. This is the hardest part one to achieve, introducing new abilities to the game. It's not just something we can do, we have to basically build an ability from the ground up, make sure its inherently not busted, make the canon jutsu, and still make it make sense within the concept of Naruto. Anutu and its sub abilities got removed because the RP has been scaled back down (which we as a community to express a desire for in the past) to move away from the concept of the Gods and all that stuff. We technically voted the ability out of the game lol, but excluding that, it was an ability doing too much, even at the lowest level.I feel like a different variety of abilities that are on the same level as YY would be cool. While I can only speak for myself and partially on staff (since im the new kid), I can almost with say with certainty- we aren't just randomly going to be giving out things like that. Maybe once inawhile, we host a giveaway of some kind, like a monthly trivia or lottery, but just giving stuff out like that for the sake of it? I dont think boss man will allow that to slide lol.

Anutu basically gave you space-time manipulation, gravity, unsealable/chakraless gravity moves etc. On paper, it was doing too much even as a counter to YY itself. However YY was nerfed not too long ago by LoK with downscaling it to base chakra damage and values, only scaling back up if your chakra had mastery over it via specs. I will speak with L and hopefully, LoK about introducing some new canon abilities, but I hear you about YY over saturation. Honestly, there's a lot you can do with the field, you just need to also get creative with it.
I have Yin and Yang myself, what did I do? Made a CFS where the user manipulates their hair with Yang Release and fights using it in CQC, and then some. Dont just look it on a surface level, think a bit more what it can do for you in tandem with other abilities and see how it fits.
I dont think it should necessarily be easy to obtain and I dont consider them impossible to obtain. I just think realistically, nobody is going to fight the same 2 to 3 people and type out multiple long A or S rank missions to get 20k+ kumi multiple times before getting bored. Prices should be sliced in half. Tier 5 costing between 10k and 20k is reasonable given the activity. T4 would be between 6.5k and 9.5k. T3 between 2.5k and 5k. T2 and T1 could be free besides leg weights, the mythical contract, and NB tai. Not to mention, realistically some T4 and above abilities and bios still require that a rp'er purchase previous abiities and bios beforehand and possibly hold them for a certain amount of time which is usually months. And I agree to that up to an extent. End game is still end game however, and I personally believe it still should be a bit harder to achieve some of them, within reason. Never got kumi or an artifact for these missions...Thanks Ian.
We'll get there, eventually @active people.
Let's get the machine running, and we'll work out the kinks as we go along.
Fair enough, Mox.I'm not usually a pessimist but this is making me one for sure. This is history repeating itself. From the staff, to the plan, to limiting the fun because of whoever "boss man" is not allowing things in a dead, text-based game.
Good luck with that.
There will be considerations around the prices and our way forward. Thank you for sharing.I dont think it should necessarily be easy to obtain and I dont consider them impossible to obtain. Its not like we would all become sage ranked Yin-yang release using Advanced Obito bios overnight. Even with kumi prices dropped significantly as I proposed, that would take dedication spanning months and 82k kumi. 82k kumi is more than some people's rp earnings for this decade or even lifetime earnings.
If activity were to rise again then prices should rise. But as it stands, even losing a single rp'er is a significant drop in activity and the flow of the RP economy.
This is a nice idea, we have been talking about greater community involvement and self-driven initiatives for the RP considering the small player base.Hear me out.
You could solo-leveling the shit out of the NW. Make random "portals" spawn in various locations of the NW, where each player goes there to explore its secrets and/or fight an NPC.
Since the staff amount is low, you could let other players take on the role of a dungeon master for a particular portal. Their incentive? - kumi of course. This gives us chance to RP not only as our bios, but also other characters and lets us try out new abilities.
So what I would do after I spawn let's say 10 portals, I'd make a thread for players to submit their application to run a "portal" or a rift if you will. Say I get approved to run portal number 3. I would then be in charge of the storytelling and eventual fight for the particular portal. After all is said and done, both players recieve kumi.
I will have a look at them.Never got kumi or an artifact for these missions...
