Remember from Part 1 where Lee fought Gaara and took off those megaton leg weights making him extremely fast? Yea what happened to those? Lee could've taken them off and owned Madara and Obito's s***. Or is there something I'm missing?

I mean, the titles of the episode indicate it is the final episode. I'm not entirely sure if it's the season that's ending or if it's the series. Shame, I just started to watch/like it.
