Personally I think the mission given by Pein in Akatsuki:Capture jinchuurikis without killing them. Hell of a task If you think about it.It is hard to kill a jinchuuriki but capture one is already annoying. Also they worked in pairs of 2,and sometimes the other one(Itachi)never assisted.
