Hardest mission in Naruto?

Personally I think the mission given by Pein in Akatsuki:Capture jinchuurikis without killing them.

Hell of a task If you think about it.It is hard to kill a jinchuuriki but capture one is already annoying.

Also they worked in pairs of 2,and sometimes the other one(Itachi)never assisted.

Well yes, by far that's the hardest one if we analize the power of akatsuki. The second hardest was to seal Kaguya, ofc sealing kaguya sounds a lot harder but if you have the sage's powers is easier than capturing jinjuriki without having the sage's special powers.

That's because they each have different quotas. I think Kisame even told Itachi could he fight quota too. Besides some jins can't fully control their tailed beast so intent really be a pain unless they let it take over.

capturing a jin w/o killing them wasn't all that difficult when Madara stepped up to the plate. I would say that stopping MT from being used was the hardest thing to accomplish, basically because there was no stopping it once Madara was in play.
