Because Sarada carrying Karin's DNA doesn't mean Sasuke had physical contact with Karin or loved her once..it could be that Sakura's DNA wouldn't give Sarada sharingan that's why they used Karin (uzumaki DNA) to create Sarada in a medical lab. Because here Kishi is trying to tell you...

So if sarada was real karin's daughter it must not have been for romantic reasons,there must have been sth that hindered sakura from giving birth.and as a proof of ss ship there's that scene in the last chapter of series 1 where he says goodbye to her before he leaves.
