Obito being Tobi was a last minute decision

Did anyone remember the time when Kakashi died due to the overuse of Kamui in the Pain arc? Kakashi saw Obito, Rin and Minato in the afterlife, I thought it was so stupid because that's when I was convinced that it wasn't Obito because it would be impossible for Kakashi to see him in the afterlife, I'm sure everyone else changed their minds at that time as well.

Does anyone think that Kishimoto wanted to give everybody what they were asking for or he wanted to catch people off guard and keep more viewers and stuff.

No he didnt change his mind. It was all from the start because having a friend that was supposedly died and turns out that he isnt and turns evil is probably the best story twist ever.

That wasn't them in the afterlife, as Minato wouldn't be in the afterlife since his spirit is sealed. That was just a flashback of those three, since he thought all of them were dead.

I'm pretty sure Kakashi only saw them in the afterlife in the anime, which is non-canon.

Nah, He's been Obito since the beginning. We just didn't want to admit it because it was wrong. That was one of the main reasons why. To Kakashi, Obito was dead. That's why he "saw" him in the afterlife.

^This covers it. The only person in the afterlife he may have actually seen was the White Fang.

he didn't see them he didn't make it to the afterlife all the way. that's why his dad the white fang said he could finally move on after kakashi forgave him and minato is in the death gods stomach so he didn't see them he imagined them because he was visualizing them because he thought all of his old team was dead. it was planned for tobi to be obito the hair and the mask with one eye hole and a sharingan were evidence.

that didnt happen in the manga animators just aded that how can he see minato when his soul is sealed in the belly of the death god ? proof that he was always meant to be obito in this page he says to sasuke. i guess i understand some wierdo starts telling you all theses shocking things comparing what happened to him with madara

Who else have the eager to had grudge against Konoha people unless any uchiha? Kishi couldnt had picked Madara obviously and Shisui couldnt have the same amount of anger towards Konoha.

Every team of past generations has a good bad side like team 7, team hiruzen, etc
Team minato is no exception, it had a good bad side from the start, especially since minato is leader
