Itachi failed (not debatable)

What does Obito have any to do with Itachi ? Itachi was a boy when Obito Attacked The Hidden Leaf.

Itachi made a deal with obito stating that konoha and their ninjas were off limits to akatsuki... if this didn't happen.. zetsu would have simply taken naruto while he was unconcious on the floor after sasuke vs naruto...

At any time the paths of peins could have attacked konoha and taken naruto while he was still a child

Danzo, hiruzen etc would have done it if he didn't..
Danzo gave him the ultimatum... DO IT and save your brother, or let us do it and he and the rest of them die..

Itachi did fail, but not because of any of the reasons you listed... as stated many times before... his actions still stopped an internal war which would have led to a world ninja war.. with konoha having to fight two wars at once.. they would surely be destroyed.. know what that means?

Itachi would never have made a deal with tobi saying konoha was off limits.. meaning nagato etc could just take konoha while naruto was still like 5
