Hmm, yeah, it's probably Konan. But you know, I didn't go through every character in my mind before making this thread. I wanted to let people know that Minato is original, and since he's never really been taught anything and he's still top 10-15?! He deserves respect.

Reason why people start to 'hate' on a character is when his fanbase starts to spam the forum with threads about him all day. Once a while wank thread is okay but numerous wank threads get annoying no matter which fanbase it is

As for the tobirama technique its unknown whether minato improved on it and what not. The reason people say this is because minato knows enough of tobirama's s/t ability to state that both theirs were inferior to tobi's but also the ability track movement by placing your hand on the ground is an ability that both share, its an s/t ability.

So perhaps minato having knowledge on tobirama's s/t technique's but also both having a similar ability is where this idea came from. Is minato the most original shinobi?, nope he isn't. Kabuto or mei have that tag on lock, though this is subjective

S/T Barrier: I think he created this because he knew what a threat the TBB is. I also noticed people didn't know Minato created it, but he did. FTG is the parent jutsu.

What makes his techniques so original is he's probably the only person who uses and relies on the techniques he created. What happened to Kirin? Oh yeah, MS.

So guys, let's grasp the simple fact that Minato is the most original person to have ever lived. The one man who was only taught seals by lady Kushina.

The only thing I disagree with is the crack against Jaraiya. Jaraiya obviously schooled the child Minato perfectly. The reflection of a true master is when his student also becomes a master. Don't forget Jaraiya turned down the post for Hokage twice, so give him his props.

Jiraiya is an amazing sensei... I don't think you understood me

No doubt about it, Jiraiya is the one who taught Minato the summoning jutsu. His contract with the toads and all... What I mean is, Jiraiya never taught him any normal jutsu Minato could use in battle. Not summons, but a normal ninjutsu which could be traded with the enemy. Such as a fire style or anything like that. When I say this, I know I'm most likely wrong since Kakashi said Minato had an element. We just don't know what it is yet.

some of his jutsu r copys and how can i put it not really original his base speed is impressive but with his flash arounb tech he cant be considered original since he is gonna warp around like mr obito

Zabuza - a swordsman, uses hidden mist which im sure half of his village uses. water style is used by most of the hidden mist as well.
Ten Ten - she uses ninja tools, yeah that's very original (sarcasm). thats the opposite of original
Gai - who can't use taijutsu
Lee - he can't even use ninjutsu looool
Anko - she's a weaker female version of orochimaru and kabuto
Ibiki - he isn't the only interrogation expert. Nagato has better interrogation techniques than him
Darui - black lightning was passed onto him from third raikage, he uses water. I admit his kekei genkai is pretty original but one of the worst in the manga
Sasori - how are puppet users original, his iron sand techniqus were obtained from 3rd kazekage
Kankuro - same as sasori
Temari - she's not the first wind style user either. I even think danzo's wind style is better than hers
Hayate - no comment

Ebisu - hahahahahaha no comment

Minato's s/t is original but I admit not that original becuase it derives from reverse summonings and probably with the help of uzumaki sealing which helped him accomplish it.

But rasengan on the other hand is as original as it gets. So what if its based off the tailed beast ball, that was only Killer B's theory anyway. Plus Minato wouldn't have been the first person to see a tailed beast ball anyway. Yet he was the first person to use his initiative and create a smaller version using the highest form of chakra manipulation.

That's like saying Konan didn't create paper and therefore her jutsu's aren't the most original. Minato created his jutsu from scratch just like the op said.
