Alot of people think Hiruzen is stronger then both the 2nd and 1st Hokages and say Minito was the strongest Hokage.

Then if Hiruzen is stronger then them and minito is stronger then Hiruzen why did minito have to die to stop the nine tails... The 1st Hokage stoped both the nine tails and Madera... 1st Hokage would DESTROY hiruzen

You're right. Hiruzen was said to be stronger than all the hokages.

But later in the manga we learned that people did not believe how strong Hashirama was. You do know what that means don't you? Hashirama was underestimated, by the people.


Hence the power level would go like this:

Hashirama actual strength> Hiruzen prime strength > Hashirama assumed strength

Kishi simply needed a rival of Madara and it became Hashi so Kishi had to turn his powerlevel higher but since he has no time machine he can't rewrite the databooks

Suigetsu called Hashi GoS not Hiruzen so if Hiruzen is acknowledged as the gos then why did it happen? lol

we can talk all day about hiruzen's prime and we will get no where. but your proof is not entirely right, hiruzen got OLD, that was the reason a fourth hokage was needed in the first place (even though hiruzen was still alive). hiruzen getting old is also the reason he died against orochimaru ..... so you didn't prove anything. i don't mind people saying that hashirama was the strongest hokage coz it's understandable (just look at the dude), personally i still think that hiruzen in his PRIME was the best. stop trying to bring hiruzen down, he is one of the best characters in this series.
