Gatch (zatch) Bell Anime

i was watching the "zatch" bell anime and the ending blows. we ddnt even get to see who gets the to be king although im pretty sure we know who. so i read the manga and in my opinion the end is amazing. the fights leading it up to it are amazing as well.

my question to you is should they finish the anime the right way? why did they stop in the first place?

I had the same question when I read it. And I would definitely approve and support a remake that sticks strictly to the manga like they did with FMA Brotherhood. Damn, I can't even explain why they would alter it unless I poke at the ending, so here...

They probably censored/altered the anime so much because almost every main character dies/disappears after a ton of character development. And that may be too much for the targeted audience to handle in motion lol. Not to mention budget either when making the show.

Unfortunately I never did finish watching through the anime (though I watched a crapload of it on Cartoon Network a long time ago) but I loved the manga, one of my favorites. I figured I might as well take a look at how the last episode plays out and yeah it's disappointing, the Clear arc is totally skipped over and you don't get a real "conclusion" per say so that was nowhere near as awesome as the manga's end.

Also, from what I recall hearing about the anime, Zeon's character development in the anime got butchered. In the manga he became a respectable, reasonable character that actually had a soul but in the anime I believe he stayed a douche till the end, that bothers me considering Zeon was my favorite in the manga.

It'd be awesome if they remade Zatch Bell anime or if nothing else made an OVA with like 10-15 episodes or something to just blaze through the Clear arc.

Have you read the manga as well? I watched random episodes as a kid but I never did sit down and watch through Zatch anime all the way through and I'm curious how it compares to the manga.

its similar but i wouldnt know i just read the manga where the anime left off.

the arc with zeon is completely different in the manga. much better i think. youll like the manga trust me

Alright, yeah the manga did the Faudo arc incredibly well so it would be hard for the anime to surpass that execution. The Zatch vs Zeon fight looked pretty badass in AMVs though so I'm sure I'll still enjoy seeing that.

Yeah the Clear arc would be one of the best in anime form just because the fighting amps up by a lot, it would be cool to see all of that with color and movement to bring it to life.
