I already know great deal about Japan's history and culture, but I'd always like to learn more. I started learning Japanese language about a year ago, so I'm at beginner level.

I find the history of Japan to be really interesting, as well as other aspects of the culture. Japanese architecure I like as well. I did attempt to learn the language...but it was kind of hard so I kind of gave up. I feel bad about it now though.
It just makes me sad that if I ever go there I would be somewhat restricted in what I could eat as I'm allergic to rice.
It is a bit particular as they were isolated for so long until opening up to the world, old traditions still strong and such!
Their and old Chinese is beautiful I think! As I said, I'd love a traditional Japanese house..

I am extremely interested in everything that has to do with Japan. I have taken language courses, a culture course, and even a religion course. I also hope to go to Japan one day, on a scholarship this fall.
