I really liked Bane, myself. I'm not a huge Joker fan to begin with though. As for who did a better portrayal, Ledger was just something else. Truly amazing. My favorite of the two was Bane, Nolan's portrayal anyways. However, Joker is the better villain. He is Batman's #1

My favorite Nolan villain though is Two-Face. Huge fan of Two-Face forever.
