Why do so many people love Madara?

His unrivaled arrogance is appealing to most. Also, you may not be a fan of his constant belittling of his opponents but I found them quite funny in otherwise boring/standard rape scenes. And as you've already mentioned, his character design is pretty good. He's not my favourite but I do like him as a character.

Well as for me I like his design and cocky nature. His one liners are pretty cool too (actually I love most of his dialogue as a whole). Not to mention he has the power to actually bring despair, and I don't really care where he got those powers (this goes for pretty much all characters).

Most of the villains of Naruto are generally in the grey, Madara is the only character (aside from Orochimaru) that can genuinely be described as a villain. Well at least thats why I personally like him as an antagonist.

Why does someone have to like a character that had no life & never will as an arrogant leader of the Uchiha clan?! He never cared for his clan! If he did, he would’ve cooperated with the cease-fire & not sent his clansmen to hell!

first of all he took his brother eyes for his clan ,but then his clan wanted to make peace. so his brother sacrifice was for nothing. madara have every right to be mad.put urself in his shoe .then add the power u would have just like him. i bet u would take revenge also. and for what u saying about immature comment. well let me tell u something . when u grow up to be a man or women i dont know what u is but grown up talk alot worse . u may not see it but its same thing ,just with bigger words .

coz Madara is just too overpowered . In his edo form now , even hashirama can't defeat him . thou i still dont see why hashirama is supposed to be so powerful . he and the 2nd hokage when Edo-ed could not finish off Hiruzen. And they had every advantage over him .

People like him because he's op and arrogant. I don't like him, he's the definition of Uchiha op bs, he's arrogance has been necessary, he didn't even acknowledge Guy and then ends up getting thrown halfway across the map by a half dead Guy and knocked out for a chapter. He mainly dicks around which is frustrating and can't even kill the kages, we all know Tsunade's going to save at least the other 4 she may even be able to heal herself.

Well my favourite character is Shikamaru. I have never gave it thought but now you mention Madara's development is as simple as the majority of his fans (apologies to the minority).
