Standing in front of the flowing river, I take a second to look around me, to
appreciate the scenery around me. The trees, the soft blue sky and the river all come together to give me a sense of peace and relaxation. I think to myself that everything in nature corresponds with each other, that everything is linked. I find my inner peace within the realm of my environment. I gaze upon the crystallized water, the river being clear enough to see my own reflection.
I take a deep breathe and think of all the troubles, the sorrows, and the trials and tribulations and let them go as I exhale.
Standing in front of the current, I think back to the first task Blizzard assigned me. I remember the feeling of pure water filling my body, coursing through my veins and my spirit. I channel the water chakra from my core, embracing it as it spreads through my whole body. I push the chakra to my fingertips, spreading my arms at a low level with my palms open. As I start spreading my arms, a small geyser forms in the middle of the stream. As I stretch my arms further, the geyser begins to form into a small wall of water, widening the more my arms stretch out. I continue this slowly until I reach an approximate length of four feet.
I take one last deep breathe.
I am the water. The water is me.
As I start to exhale, I begin lifting my spread arms cautiously in the air, channeling the chakra to flow along with my movements. The wall slowly starts to rise in the air matching my body movements. Keeping steady, focused entirely on my task, I get the water to about three feet in length. I pause for a brief moment, then thrust my hands forward while reaching almost as high as my arms will go. I thrust my palms forward, the force causing the wave to roll in a tide like motion following the path of the current.
Watching the wave flow with the stream, I mentally review what I just did, and understand the connection of me and the water.
Raising my left hand, I create a similar wave of water controlling it with more ease then before. After I create the wave with my left hand, I raise my right hand palm out creating a replica if the first wave directly behind it. I thrust both hands forward causing the waves to follow in line with the current of the river. I watch the waves move with the stream and become part of the whole body once again.
I ground myself and raise my open palms to create one last wave, feeling the flow of the water throughout me. I raise the wave to four feet, and give one final thrust at a velocity faster than the first few, causing the current to form around the wave and increase the flow of the rivers speed.
As the last wave diminishes, I look over at Blizzard with a look of question hoping that I am continuing to impress Blizzard-Sempai.
