Orochimaru can literally be reborn into a brand new body by shedding his old body. its different than Tsunade's healing ability which heals almost all injuries.

OT: Tsunade would die from decapitation. She can survive being cut in half because the vital organs (lungs, heart, brain) were not completely severed, allowing her to live a bit longer, though the excessive bleeding would kill her eventually.

Decapitation cuts off her blood and oxygen supply to the brain as well as any other functions below the neck. Her brain would only last for a few seconds before dying from lack of oxygen and other nutrients the brain needs to survive.

She has survived 90 S rank Missions without Being beheaded so i dont think it will be easy

You know, it would greatly depend on a lot of things. Like completely beheaded, aka Hidan, then NO. But spinal cord/mad. Ob. ? Maybe. She would certainly have to have Katsuyu there.

No according to the manga she can survive disembowelment and bisection, not decapitation. If she doesn't have a functioning brain, her chakra cannot do its magic and even though Katsuyu can put her head back on, if the lights are already out, she is done.

I think Orochimaru himself said that he kinda envied Tsunade because she is unkillable in battle or something like that.

one cannot fully say that Tsunade can die via decapitation since it has not been mentioned or shown yet.. but think about this, wy didn't Madara decapitate her back then and just leave her bisected? thing is, Tsunade's byakugou's seal extends from her head to her feet.. it would suggest that the seal extends throughout her body.. now, Byakugou works without the input of any conscious effort, unlike its predecessor, Creation Rebirth.. now, we can assume that since byakugou works without the need of any conscious thinking, then, brain function is not necessary for her jutsu to work.. plus, Byakugou is an extension of Creation Rebirth which is by its definition, heals and regenerates ANY ORGANS.. the brain, heart and lungs are all organs..

sorry but nope.. that Kisame was a White Zetsu if you would recall.. Kisame is all susceptible to physical attacks.. that is why he was affected by Hirudora and got cut by Asuma's blade..

Kabuto once severed her intercostal muscles which basically prevents her from breathing.. Orochimaru lung through her lungs with Kusanagi.. can't say if her heart was also damaged, but since Orochimaru sliced through her chest, it think its safe to suggest so..

thanks for the image.. but the sword went straight to the center of the thoracic area.. the heart is not in the middle, but rather more inclined to the left side of the chest.. but seeing the wound, i think her aorta or anterior vena cava may have been damaged.. Orochimaru's second attack which slashed her in the chest is what would have made the greater damage seeing it could easily sliced through her lungs and heart..

but the lungs themselves were not completely cut off from her body, plus the heart had only been sliced through, it wasnt completely cut off as well. Complete removal from the rest of the body is more fatal than a simple wound, since she would have to regrow her entire upper body to survive, which is impossible to do when she is decapitated because the brain can only survive a few seconds without all of the blood and oxygen as well as other nutrients necessary for it to survive.
