Asuma's wind tech is dust cloud, its a very narrow laser like attack only with heavy spiraling wind in it. If used in the mist, more than likely it would just make a narrow hole in the mist. It isnt like Wind Slythe Jutsu, it doesnt cover all ranges, Dust Cloud is more focused.

That being said, it wont blow away mist
