Well, this is basically a question about fighting.

What's faster and stronger, the 8 Gates or Sage Mode?

(I need to know this if I ever fight a Gates user)

i would say 8 gates is faster depanding on which gate u open

8 gates would probably own sage mode, but then again remember, sage mode can be used more than one time by clones unlike gates, which if all are opened would probably kill the user.

Well i don't know the answer to this question, cause to me Sage Mode is a complete blur, the way people use it here confuses me big time.
Same with 8 gates, opening them is...we have seen only Gai and Lee doing that, still people who will learn to do it here will use it in every battle.
These facts will be considered in our battle system update.

I would Say 8 gates, but i don't have many arguments about it.

sorry i would have to say sage mode would own 8 gates hands down cuz when they frist intrude 8 gates it says that u would get a power like that of the hokage! the only thing i have to say maybe if some like naruto or j-man knew 8 gates maybe cuz i think it depends on the person but i choose Sage mode plus it doesnt make u fall apart and u can use more than once!

Rock Lee and Gai can't use Sage Mode 'coz they love Taijutsu...

J-man dodn't learn 8 gates 'coz his time is with the other two sannin which also became sages of their repective animals...

yay cause i got 8 gates (technically 7, who will open 8th[plus never opened it either])
thank gudness i concentrated on learning special arts only

It's because of his chakra

kakashi and yondiame used to open them
kakashi's blue chakra release and yondiame's red chakra release
also it is said that yondiame opened the ninth gate
i know u guys never heard of it
it is said it on the head of the person(just like halo)
if any1 can open it surely
he'll be able neglate the power of death
but don't know wat happened......xd

i think if u go into the 6th gate and higher then u should be faster then sage mode as for power to level with sage mode it would have to be the 7th

and ds as a last resort i would b/c then i could just make a new bio
