Technically it wouldn't be Neji's fault. Guy even said that on a battlefield you should expect casualties. Hinata chose to come to the battlefield of her own free will.

i know but thats not the point neji will still feel bad if he couldn't save her and thats why he did so yes he did it to save naruto as well but neji will feel gratful that he died by saving hinata

Kishis role for hinata has turned kind of pathetic...actually ino is the only one really looking good right now (and mei and tsunade of course) in this war girl wise. Hinata just wants to die and kishi is either planning up something real huge for Sakura or shes just going to die and make naruto angry. i think Hinata or Sakura one is going to die for sure if not both. I def believe Hinata has the most chance of dying....and i think she will die literally protecting naruto. Hes not going to be able to save everyone
